While about 25 people will be able to find employment at Sony Online Entertainment following SOE's acquisition of the The Matrix Online and the DC Comics game, some 55 other Monolith employees are out of a job according to the Seattles Times. The layoffs are all part of Monolith exiting the massively multiplayer business. Monolith will still employ over a hundred people, who continue to work on F.E.A.R. and Condemned: Criminal Origins.
