Good afternoon, Shackerinos! It's once again your favorite time of the week: ShackReviews database update time!! A rather solid release week, especially if you're a DS owner. Everyone is saying that Kirby: Canvas Curse is the first true DS title and that it's absolutely fantastic. 89% at GameRankings. If you have it, tell us about it! As always, if there's a game you want in the database, see if it's already there and if not, request it!

There is nothing worse in the world than getting on a plane and realizing you left Lumines back at home. I was hoping to finally break 300,000 at 30,000 feet but it was not to be. I tried to find a decent movie on UMD to watch but man, I absolutely couldn't see the sense in paying $20 for a sub-par flick that I'd only watch once. The only one I would buy, Hero, is marked up to $30. Argh; Blockbuster needs to start rentin' those things.

yeah I pickedup kirby. Its one of the best, most addictive platformers ive played in forever.

The trick is all in the stylus, not using traditional controls to jump/move takes all the staleness that has built up into gaming that no one believes is there, but is.

Once you get good at it, its like a roller coaster of stylus moves through a level , its very very fun.

Oh and the ladies love it. In fact the DS has been the only thing I can get my GF interested in. and the biggest titles (animal crossings/nintendogs) are yet to come

that 'not using traditional controls' thing is why I think halo was as popular as it was.

You forgot to mention Halo's "original" plot concept.
