Every now and then, 1UP posts a rather interesting feature article that is fun to read and informative to boot. For instance, check out "What's In A Name?" It takes a look at the names of popular game companies and tells you where they come from; Konami is the combination of the first few letters of the four founding members and SEGA is a shortened version of its original name of Service Games. In Grand Finale: The Art of Game Endings, they break down the confusing endings of some classic games. SMB2 was just a dream? Did the Earth kill off the humans at the end of FFVII? Interesting stuff.
