Late Night Consoling

The eratic and eclectic Hideo Kojima has gone on record as saying Metal Gear Solid 4 will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.. or at least that's his plan. "Of course we could port it to other consoles, but doing so would require additional staff and research and development costs. If I were to make games for the Xbox 360 or the [Nintendo] Revolution, I'd rather create original titles that match each console's audience, instead of the Metal Gear Solid series." Kojima then again used his dinner analogy concerning the next-gen consoles.

Tecmo and Constantin Film AG announced that shooting has begun on the Dead or Alive movie. The shooting will take place in various parts of China under the direction of Cory Yeun, whose past films include Romeo Must Die and The Transporter. The director/writer of the Resident Evil films, Paul W.S. Anderson, is on as a producer but don't worry, Uwe Boll is nowhere to be seen. He's off ruining his latest project; a movie based on Postal.

It's already awesome enough that a Sonic collection is finally going to include Sonic CD, but now SEGA is packing in another great series along with the upcoming Sonic Gems Collection. All three titles in the Streets of Rage series will be on the disc as well as Bonanza Brothers. Not only that, but SEGA is still planning a surprise or two!
