Late Night Consoling

Today is just a day full of rumor and intrigue, isn't it? A hot WW2 shooter as a PS3 launch title? Burnout on the DS? Lack of HD support for the Revolution? Of course, nothing beats a sex simulator locked and hidden deep inside GTA: SA. Oh man, imagine the uproar if that was actually in the game; which is kinda backwards if you think about it. I'd say sex with your girlfriend is less worrisome than what's actually in the game. Damn you, Janet Jackson!
  • New Medal of Honor as PS3 Launch Title?

    [ps2]

Sources close to GameSpot confirmed to them that Electronic Arts' Los Angeles studio has been hard at work on a next-gen Medal of Honor title. Currently codenamed Medal of Honor: Airborne, this title will focus on a paratrooper unit similar to the one featured in the HBO mini-series, Band of Brothers. At this time, it was only confirmed it will be for the PlayStation 3, however it will be a launch title for the console.

  • No HD for Revolution?

    [nintendo]

Microsoft promised the Xbox 360 will push the world into the "HD era." Sony promised that the PS3 will support two HDTVs at the same time to create a huge 32:9 widescreen. What has Nintendo promised? Nothing and they're sticking to it! Nintendo bigwig Perrin Kaplan has recently said, "There currently are no plans for Nintendo Revolution to support high-definition video output. We have thoroughly considered the best means of video output for the system and are dedicated to delivering the best hardware possible to meet the demands of our consumers."

  • Burnout Legends Coming to the DS

    [ds]

Electronic Arts insiders let loose another juicy rumor. Burnout Legends, a portable version of the series previously exclusive to the PSP, is now going to find its way onto the Nintendo DS. Talking to EuroGamer, the source said a French studio is developing the title under the watchful eye of Criterion. That's it for now, but hopefully we'll know more shortly.

  • Nintendo's Baseball Sim Indefinitely Delayed

    [gcn]

GameCube owners looking forward to Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball now have a new reason for concern. The oft-delayed title has now been "indefinitely delayed." Typically, when this happens with a game, it never sees the light of day. However, that's not specifically the case, but with baseball season already in full swing, Nintendo may of missed their chance this season.

  • Sex Mini-Game in GTA: SA?

    [ps2]

Rockstar is notorious for stepping over the line when it comes to sex and violence in their GTA games, but it seems even some things are a bit too risque for them. With the release of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, users have been able to crack open a mini-game that's been there all along, but appears to have been cut at the last minute. Essentially, it's a sexual intercourse mini-game. CJ can go inside his girlfriend's house and is put on the spot to sexually pleasure her. Using the joystick to move in rhythm, an excitement meter details his success. All your favorite positions are available. Click the link to see how to do this on the PC version.

  • Two More Resident Evil Movies on the Way

Although gamers have had mixed reactions regarding the two Resident Evil movies, one thing they can be sure of is that two more are on the way. Germany-based Constantin Film AG is already planning a fourth flick while the third one has yet to start shooting. Very little information on this film is known at this point, but it is based on a Paul W.S. Anderson script and will take place in Tokyo with filming done on-location in Japan. As for the third flick, sub-titled Afterlife, that's set for release in the summer of next year.
