New FF: Crystal Chronicles for Revolution
[nintendo]Square Enix pledged their support for the Revolution by announcing a sequel to Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. The game will make use of Nintendo's new online network, although playablity over the Internet was not 100% confirmed. Said Yoichi Wada, president of Square Enix,"The Revolution may embody a new platform beyond a portable or console, which makes possible a new structure in the network gaming system, changing the ways communities are built and supported. This is the kind of direction we've envisioned, and we will challenge ourselves to provide immersive interactive content in response to what Nintendo offers."

Star Wars Battlefront 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Lemmings Coming to PSP
[psp]The PC and console shooter will find its way onto Sony's PSP. Savage Entertainment are heading up the development and while Battlefront 2 will be very similar to the console versions, it will have features designed for the portable gamer. For instance, action is broken up into mini-campaigns for quick playability. Four player coop and online versus modes will be included. Also revealed at the show is Street Fighter Alpha 3 for the PSP, considered one of the best in the series. It was shown only in trailer-form, so not much is known at this point. Finally, SCEE said they're bringing Lemmings to the PSP, in development by Worms developers Team 17.

DOA Volleyball 2 for Xbox 360
[xbox]A sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball is on the way for the Xbox 360. On top of volleyball, other sports will be included, with a couple possibilities being football and wrestling, although nothing is confirmed. Of course, customization of the characters will be the key to DOAX2. It's expected for release next year.

Sequels: True Crime 2, New Driver, Indiana Jones
A couple new titles announced were sequels for the True Crime, Indiana Jones, and Driver series. True Crime 2, was announced, but only details on a contest were shared. As for the new Driver, the series will return to its roots by offering more driving action based inside a photorealistic New York. Indiana Jones will be a next-gen title for 2007, but nothing else was revealed.

New Castlevania Landing on Xbox
[xbox]The new 3D Castlevania game that was already announced for the PC will now find its way onto the Xbox. "Curse of Darkness introduces players to an entirely new storyline and main character Hector, a Devil Forgemaster, and former Lieutenant of Dracula. Told in true Castlevania style by award winning producer Koji Igarashi, this action-packed tale of betrayal and revenge takes players on a journey through an expansive world filled with formidable foes and beautifully rendered environments to the ruins of Dracula's castle."

New Sonic, Capcom Collections Official
[ps2] [gamecube]At E3, Sega revealed their latest Sonic collection with Sonic Gems Collection. The rumored title was shown at the floor and Sonic R, Sonic CD, and Sonic Fighters will be in the collection. Don't know what else will be in there, but Sonic CD is enough for me! Capcom also showcased their Capcom Classics Collection, featuring 22 games such as 1942, Final Fight, Ghosts n' Goblins, and Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting.
