Simulate the Driving Experience with a Real Car

Still having trouble finding the right wheel controller to use with Forza Motorsport? Kotaku found a couple of guys who can help you! Two hardcore modders decide to take a real car and turn it into the most realistic driving simulator for videogames. They wired the car's gauges, steering wheel and pedals, tossed a sheet over the windshield to use as a screen, and placed a projector in the back and before they knew it, they were hitting the track in NASCAR SimRacing. Read up on the entire blog right here.

Think that's extreme? This dude built one of the most realistic flight simulators out there. James Price bought a chunk of junked Boeing 737 for $50,000 and spent days of his life building and programming it to be compatible for Microsoft's Flight Simulator. It has to be as close to the real deal as one could get.
