Sony Online Entertainment has announced Desert of Flames, the first expansion pack for EverQuest 2. To be released in September, Desert of Flames will feature new quests, over 40 new monsters, a cap increase to 60 and new voice-over emotes among other things. SOE also announced that a second adventure pack, titled Splitpaw Saga, will be out late next month. Desert of the Flames will set you back $29.99, while Splitpaw Saga will be a $7.99 digital download.
