  You apparently never fell on a graveled road while running or something, don't you? This is rough sand that you get in the desert and it's pretty much the same.

    i thought that may be the case, so i looked up images of soldiers in iraq on google. i couldnt find any image of a soldier with gloves on. i think the hands looked really stupid so they put gloves on em.
