Late Night Consoling

26
I'd like to link to these videos we have hosted on FileShack. They're in-game footage of Panzer Dragoon Saga, a critically-acclaimed RPG for the Sega Saturn that came much too late to do anything to save the system. Thanks to roushimsx for capturing these for Shackers. (cue jason to tell us it's the best game ever!) Although I did once own this game, I was much too immature at the time to enjoy it and I eagerly eBay'd it for $100 to probably buy something stupid like Blasto! or Mortal Kombat Trilogy. My only memory is that the intro cinematic was like a half hour long. Looking at some completed auctions on eBay, the game now sells for close to $200. I don't think I'll be giving this one a second chance anytime soon. =(
  • Mistwalker's Xbox 360 Game Revealed

    [xbox]

Japanese magazines have the first bits of information on one of Mistwalker's two Xbox 360 titles. It's called Blue Dragon and there are three characters that'll play a central role: Jiro (a smarty-pants), Shu (adventurous spiky-haired kid), and Kruck (a mature girl). The game follows Shu and his blue dragon, which is oddly enough, his shadow! There still is a lot to be learned, but Akira Toriyama's influence is instantly noticed. "I've made many RPGs in my past, but I'm planning to make Blue Dragon the most satisfying in terms of volume," commented Sakaguchi. "It will have many adventures and tricks that can only be featured in video games. Please look forward to it."
