Euro PSP in September?
[psp]Sources close to GamesIndustry.biz have told the site that the European launch of the PSP may be delayed all the way until September. It was previously thought June would be the month. The cause of such a delay would be shortages in Japan and the U.S. The official release date is expected to be announced at E3.

Japanese Developers Sound Off on Next-Gen Xbox
[xbox]GameSpot took a look at some recent issues of Japanese gaming mags and came away with snippits about what Japanese devs thought about Microsoft's next-gen console. Okamoto's Game Republic will be working on a party game that should appeal to a wide range of people. It will make full use of Xbox Live. Mizuguchi's Q? Entertainment has an action title in the works, stating he was impressed with Microsoft's commitment to HD video and the hardware's sound design. Finally, Sakaguchi says the game his company, Mistwalker, is working on will try and do away with the cinematic presentation of recent releases. He believes only the person playing should be fully aware of what's going on.

Square Enix's Code Age Revealed
[ps2]Not only did Famitsu have info on Grandia III, but it also offered details on another Square Enix RPG called Code Age Commanders. The game takes place on a "intra-globular world," where everything on the planet relies on an floating object called the Central Code. Every 10,000 years, the Central Code recycles all life on the planet, starting over from scratch. The game focuses on the citizens building an ark to flee the planet before the great change takes place.

Tomb Raider VII Details
[ps2]The creator of Tomb Raider, Toby Gard, dropped a few details about the seventh installment of the series. It will be titled Tomb Raider: Legends and it will take the series back to its roots, focusing on actual tomb raiding. Lara Croft has undergone a makeover, making her figure more realistic yet still keeping a few details that make her so recognizable. More should be revealed at E3.

Next-Gen Xbox to Feature Downloadable Demos
[xbox]The latest rumor at Spong suggests that Microsoft's follow-up to the Xbox, currently codenamed Xenon, will feature downloadable demos. These demos, to be showcased over Xbox Live, will be ready day one of the system's life, offering gamers the opportunity to try before they buy. A couple issues this brings up is what to do about the official magazine, which can attribute the demo disc as a huge reason behind its sales numbers. Hopefully E3 will shed some more details.
