Well, in case there was any doubt we can call Half-Life2 now confirmed. It looks like Planethalflife has word that Nikki Six from Motley Crue will be helping with the music for Half-Life2 which has not yet been announced by Valve Software with his 'side band' called 1958. Here's the quote on why they are using 1958's group instead of the Motley dudes:
Why did you decide to do this with your side-project, 1958, instead of with Motley Crue?
The [loop-based] music is more fitting.
I'm not much of a music in games guy, what I'm more curious about is the technology and gameplay style they plan on using in HL2 damn it.
