Flagship's Hellgate: London
BlizzPlanet reports that the May issue of PC Gamer will have a cover article on Hellgate: London, finally revealing the RPG in development at Flagship Studios. As you might remember, Flagship employs several ex-Blizzard designers and executives including Bill Roper. The news post comes with a pic of the magazine cover, and mentions that the game will appear on PCs and Macs, but there's no other info on the game which will be published by Namco. Update: Groovalicious Games has a bit of a summary of what's mentioned in the article.

Do you think. Just maybe.
A gate, to hell, was opened...in London?-
nein! apparently it's set in a post-nuclear world. i saw this in a post over at SA:
"an rpg that takes place in a post-apocolyptic world where hell has invaded earth and won. Apparently all military powers have been destroyed. And the planet is now going through "The Burn", where basically everything is turning into a hell, as in a firey, brimstoney place. You play one of several classes like the "Templar" and..well I dont know what your objective is, but its probably pretty neato. One of the captions on the pictures says "Can one reverse the burn", so that might have something to do with it. You can interact with npcs and have them help you, and use a ton of cool arcane and futuristic weapons. It will be sp and mp, in the diablo sense..focusing on sp." -
