Late Night Consoling

20
A tiny update with big news. It is pretty mind-boggling for Namco to decide to go the console-exclusive route with Soul Calibur III, especially with a console that didn't have the most copies sold for its previous fighter. Of course, the PS2 is the largest market and would make most sense, it's still odd decision to alienate all those GameCube and Xbox owners who supported the second SC. Plus, the announced details don't seem to stand out enough to warrant a full-blown sequel; three characters and a create-a-fighter mode? Sounds like there should be way more than that with online play being a must.

GameSpot reports that From Software is working on a game making utility for the PSP. Called Adventure Player, it allows you to create an adventure, puzzle or quiz game on the PC, which you then put it on your Memory Stick and launch through the included UMD.
