SWAT 4 In Stores April 5

Vivendi Universal Games has announced that SWAT 4 is finished, and will ship to stores April 5 in North America and a week later for the rest of the world. The official site has been opened as well.

    Played the demo and the game seems like it's little more than SWAT 3 with a facelift. Same old non-interactive environment - in the age of Havok-driven physics that's just inexcusable. Control interface is screwed up because it's all mouse/menu instead of the more practical mouse/keyboard/menu combo. I'll pass.

        No. BTW, the SP demo wasn't horrible but I was expecting a bigger improvement from SWAT 3(which I loved except for the sewer level - that sucked).

      While I think demo was pretty damn good I have to agree with the control interface comment. If you mastered the swat 3 interface this one seem really slow and clunky in comparision. Someone mentioned to try classic interface but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, perhaps that is the answer.
