If anyone like myself has played this game, I hope you can share in the irony of Gearbox looking for a texture artist.

I'm mostly done with the game. I don't see the irony, unless you're talking about character uniforms, which are pretty low-res and blurry.

The guns, uniforms, environments and just about everything else were textured horribly. Maybe I've been spoiled by some of the the more graphically intense games released as of late, but on a pc I expect pc graphics. Not something that was toned down for the xbox. Everything looked like the blur tool was taken to it.

And it doesn't help much that the bloom effect is overpowering everything most of the time.

Games can have excellent texturing while still using bloom (fake HDR) or real HDR rendering, Brothers In Arms just has some plain 'ol shitty textures.

If anything, the bloom effect should make the bad textures a bit less obvious.
