Late Night Consoling

17
Check it out, the Nintendo DS had two, count 'em TWO, titles released for it today: Yoshi Touch & Go and Pokemon Dash. While Yoshi's latest game is doing rather well for itself (81% at GameRankings), Pokemon Dash is bombing (45%). Ah well, one good title is better than none, right? The DS does have a bright future... just not one that's immediately bright. While the PSP launch looks like it'll be the most successful, the holiday battle appears to be the fight to see. Nintendo has Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Castlevania, and Metroid in its corner, whereas the PSP only has, at this point, Infected on the charts. Again, all eyes turn to E3 to see what secrets lie in wait.

Last night, you saw a few shots of this title. Today, it was made official as Electronic Arts and Marvel pulled back the curtain on Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. The game, which is fighting-based, pits famous Marvel characters against newly created heroes that will represent EA. Comic artist Jae Lee and Hollywood character designer Paul Catling were brought on-board to flesh out the unique cast. Nihilistic Software will handle development and a six-issue comic mini-series is being planned to generate hype for the game. Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects will release on the PS2, Xbox, GCN, and PSP.

Another PSP was stuffed inside a fur carrying case with leather tassels. Check out pictures inside the link.

Eternal Champions CD was (still is) a GREAT game, but not really the bloodiest. Bloodiest fighting game in my book is Kabuki Warriors for the Atari Jaguar. Hmm... maybe I'll go pop that in right now...

I've never played Kabuki Warriors, but have you ever played... um... i think its called Time Warriors? Arcade game where you can rip of fighters right and left arms seperately as well as decapitate them (which kills them, but they can still fight without arms as they have kicks and head buts).
