AMD in 2000

Well we all saw that Intel roadmap at HardOCP a couple of days ago, so what's AMD up to? Here's a good overview of what they have going. It looks like AMD is looking to even put out a 'Celeron killer' chip in 2nd Quarter of next year.

Spitfire - AMD's Celeron killer. Based on a .18 mu Aluminun fabrication process, Spitfire will reside in a "Socket A" package, rather than the current "Slot A". Spitfire will be based on an enhanced K75 core, thus bringing along enhanced 3D Now! and all the other tweaks of the Athlon. With onboard fullspeed cache, you have the same design as the PPGA Celeron, but a lot faster.
