Natural Selection 3.0 Q&A
Also on Computer Games Magazine's website today is a Q&A with Charlie Cleveland of Unknown Worlds. Version 3.0 of the company's Natural Selection mod for Half-Life is coming soon, and Ward also talks about NS: Source and the difficulties of running Unknown Worlds.

This makes me the saddest wookiee.-
This is interesting however:
Instead of taking many months to create oe] big version, we will probably port just the game over first, then start redoing artwork, maps and gameplay a piece at a time. We want to release smaller versions more frequently, and that's why 3.1 and the first NS:S version will come relatively quickly.]/-
if they take that path, i fear alot of people will be constantly bitching at the gfx (like the people bitching about DOD:S) since the first ns source release probably wont have a significant gfx make over as some would hope to expect. If they want to get there mod on par with "today's standards" they shouldnt follow the gradual-upgrade-method.
