Condemned Announced

13

Sega today announced that it is publishing Condemned, a new first person shooter (or as they say "suspense-filled, first-person psychological thriller game") in development at Monolith. In the game you play as an FBI agent who tracks down serial killers.

Developed by award-winning Monolith Productions, the game allows players to experience an unnatural level of psychological tension as they use their instincts, forensic tools, and melee combat to track serial killers and bring them to justice. Gamers will play as Ethan Thomas, an FBI agent in the Serial Crimes Unit (SCU), whose pursuit of relentless serial killers leads him through detailed urban environments filled with deadly sociopaths who lurk on the periphery of humanity.
The game is scheduled to be released on PC and (next-gen) console systems next winter. A preview can be found in the March issue of Game Informer.

There was a time where Sega's involvement would make me consider this a title that should be watched.

That time has passed. Although I would like to see FP mele done right.
