More Battlefield 2 Q&As

Some more Battlefield 2 Q&As this morning as Reality Friends and this German BF2 fan site were able to ask the people DICE a few questions about the game. Topics include ranking, spawn killing, weapon recoil, admin tools, VoIP, and weapon kits. Thanks TotalBF2.

4. Will the sniper scope have adjustable zoom? Will elevation and windage be modelled along with ballistics (bullet drop)?

A: Sniper rifles do not have adjustable zoom. Projectiles will drop over distance.

This sounds like fun! At least different from the odd holds needed for long-range BF1942 sniping.

  I'm not sure if I'm a fan of projectiles dropping over long distance. Personally it's one of those realism features that make the game less fun. So long as wind doesn't effect bullet dymnamics..that just makes for hella frustrating experience that no one needs.

    hehe, but it was even more satisfying respawning with a sniper kit and repaying the guy for the favour
