Guild Wars Dated
ArenaNet has announced a release date for Guild Wars, their highly anticipated online action RPG. The game will ship to stores in the US and Europe April 28. If you pre-order the game you can start playing April 27. We have a new in-game trailer on FileShack.

And GW is nothing like that at all. I don't know why they ever bothered comparing it to an MMO. Just a marketing ploy I guess.
GW has minimal grinding. You can even start off with a level 20 character with full attributes if you want. GW is built for competition.
I'd say it's more of a hybrid action/RPG that's heavily focused on teamplay.
