Blues News has an open letter from Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley, who talks about various MMORPG related topics including their launch of EverQuest 2, and current MMORPG king World of Warcraft. About Blizzard's game, Smedley says "Kudos to Blizzard on what I think is a spectacular game. I've played the heck out of it, and I love it (as have many people here at SOE)". The end of the letter mentions some of the ideas they are throwing around for future massively multiplayer games.
