Possible Price War on Baseball Games
[ps2] [xbox] [gcn]With a slew of baseball games on the horizon, a possible pricing war may break out. So far, the only game to officially state a price is Sony, whose MLB 2006 will sell for $39.99. That leaves the prices of 2k Games' MLB 2K5, EA's MVP Baseball 2005, and Nintendo's Pennant Chase Baseball up in the air. EBgames.com is listing MLB 2K5 at $19.99, just like the previous sports releases from Take-Two. Rumors are suggesting that EA will give MVP Baseball 2005 a $29.99 tag. Nintendo may be the only company selling their game for $49.99 as none of the other three games will release for the GameCube.

Console Game Of The Evening [Submit Yours!]
Tron Deadly Discs for the Intellivision. "Very simple but addictive concept. Kill the other 3 guys with your disc, before they kill you...and then wet your pants with fear when the Recognizer appears. Why hasn't there been a remake of this?" (submitted by fortyseven).
