The game industry isn't all about firing (EA, Sammy Studios), as several Seattle area companies are hiring. On the 12th the Shoreline Center will host the Seattle Video Game Industry Job Conference which will feature a resume workshop and an opportunity to do some networking. There will be speakers from Surreal, Microsoft, Monolith, Gas Powered Games, Valve and other local companies. More info here.
