Epic's Xbox 2 Project Revealed
[xbox]A source close to EuroGamer has slipped the online site a few details about Epic Games' project for the Xbox 2. The game is called Gears of War and the premise is simple: ride around on big creatures and destroy stuff. The game is, obviously, using the Unreal Engine 3 and it may even be a launch title for the console when it possibly ships at the end of the year.

Seaman for the Dreamcast. "Probably one of the most original, innovative, and totally misunderstood games ever created. Still to this day no other game comes close to how weird, yet strangely addictive this game was." (submitted by liqker).

Tetris DS, ah?

Hmm... I thought it was pretty good. Been a while since I played it, but I'm kinda sure it said THQ at the beginning... I might mix it up with Bubble Bobble or something though.
I've played one Tetris for GBA which I enjoyed, but I haven't played a lot of versions over the past 10 years or so, only a few "homebrew" ones on PC, so I dunno what I'm "supposed" to compare to... Oh, and some network multiplayer Tetris about 5-6 years ago that was brilliant (multris?). -
Sustained. It didn't even save your options so you had to set it up every time you powered on the cart, which was bad because it had a lot of annoying/useless options and the defaults were horrible.
The gameplay was worse than either of the original Tetris games on the GB/GBC.
How a company can fuck up Tetris I do not know, but the clowns who made Tetris World for the GBA certainly managed it. And I bought it. :-|
