Late last month, gamers found out that Atlus was bringing over Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity to North American shores. Since information on this PS2 strategy RPG is rather sparse, I sent some questions over to Atlus and they happily returned some answers.

Shack: Fans of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness are probably keeping an eye on Stella Deus. Are the games strikingly similar/different in any specific way? Why should your fans come back for more? Atlus: While Disgaea focused on amassing a ginormous army of terribly over-powered characters, Stella Deus opts for a more traditional experience like the classic Ogre Battle series. Stella Deus probably plays slower than Disgaea, because players must think about each move and the advantages or disadvantages it gives them.
