Quake IV Screenshots

In an article looking at games coming out in 2005, Games Domain has the first two internet screenshots of Raven's Quake IV. A PC Gamer print article was the only source for screenshots previously.

        I had to get to work like 5:30 in the freakin morning just to press that damn on button on the servers. (lousy no for good for nothing 12 hour power outages)

      what DOES a Quake game look like? Quake doesn't seem to have any identifying qualities other than some rust colors

  It looks like an expansion pack to Doom 3. I honestly wouldn't know the difference if you showed me those shots.

    That's pretty much what I was thinking. The guy on the right in that second screenshot could be a stunt double for the Doom 3 guy. (Did he have a name? I forget...)

  yeah... and someone tell me again why the hell do they bother making Quake 4 if its storyline is going to suck and people will only play multiplayer? I mean couldn't they just have refined Doom 3 multiplayer instead?

    If you look at the pic on the left, there's a quake logo (the double wing symbol) on the chest (?) of the cyborg.
