I use the Logitech Dual Action which is almost identical to the PS2 controller and is very cheap.

I went through PoP with a mouse and keyboard and I had no problems. A controller connected to a console does feel different, but I don't think it's any more or less suited for the input needs of a game as simple as PoP. I think fighting games and flight sims are the only games for which a mouse and keyboard are inadequate.

I wonder when people will stop acting like PC=mouse/keyboard. There are tons of gamepads available for almost nothing, which makes it just as easy to play these kind of games on pc compared to consoles.

Most people are really cheap. I mean too cheap to pay 10-20 bucks even.

If this game played like, say, GTA, it'd be ok on a pc. The first one didn't, though, the control has heavily console-designed, so it was much more enjoyable on a gamepad.

I almost went mad trying to get the god damn time freeze move to work on PC. Infact I just gave up at the elevator place cause I could not get it to work. Keyboard controls made those types of moves tough.

I played with Mouse keyboard but now that u mention it i should have used my Thrustmaster dual firestorm 3!! forgot i had it, bought it for GTA and never used it after that. The mouse was very useful for the first person view to look around and figure out some of the puzzles. i'm very biased towards a mouse cause its instantly reactive to your movements compared to even an analog stick which i feel are very finicky.
