DICE Q&A
Swedish gaming site FZ has a quick Q&A with Digital Illusions' Patrick Soderlund, asking the owner and founder about EA's planned acquisition of the company. Among other things, Soderlund mentions the PC will remain a platform they'll develop for (since no game they've made has sold more than BF1942), and the company will stay in Sweden and will probably hire another 150-200 employees.

another 150-200 people? omg... I figured that was about the size of the company right now (the division here in Sweden).
Just hope they'll drop their silly requirement of 3 years of experience as professional game developer then so I can apply. :D Although, I don't wanna move to Stockholm. =/
Guess it's good for DICE though. :)-

I want to recall this happening about a year ago or so... Hmm... Or maybe not that long ago (half a year?). Google found this:
Operating costs for the first nine months 2004 increased by 25 percent compared with the same period 2003. The rise in costs is related to the Company's continued growth, and primarily due to larger and more advanced productions. The move of Digital Illusions' Gothenburg office has burdened the third quarter 2004 with SEK 3m.

So the move has taken place at least...
According to this article <http://www.dreamstation.cc/news/video_games/id4015> they actually moved during the fall this year. heh, I got a messed up sense of time it seems.
