Ghost Recon 2 Preview
A new Ghost Recon 2 preview has been posted over at Games Domain. The article offers impressions of the Xbox version of the game, which will be similar to the PC version.

ubi's been hosting xbox previews of the game around the world. london, san fran and houston were pretty big successes according to fans -- at least from what i've read on the subject. the fans who posted were primarily PC gamers who were also diehard GR 1 fans -- and several of them were not pleased when the sequel was originally shown at E3., and vocally so.
almost all these people who've previewed the game (hands on) have been impressed. though it would be prudent to wait for a PC demo for many, i'm already certain i'm picking this game up. again, from what i've read, just about everything that's been added is optional (3rd person) and the original gameplay mecahncis are there, and still solid. the graphics got a major overhaul, you don't have to walk ten yards to get around a six inch curb anymore, and the only real downer is the fact that you only control one fireteam and can only directly control one character. if the AI's been modeled properly, i can live with the change.
new york and north carolina previews are coming up. wish i could make it.-
I better be able to setup a multiplayer server where players can respawn or I am gonna be pissed. For whatever reason Ubisoft decided to yank reapawning out and now none of my friends will play it because they can't respawn.

Ha! I got busy typeing and neglected to say Rainbow Six 3 doesn't have respawn. I know GR gas it, I love GR.
