A couple of interesting tidbits of PSP news coming out this evening. For instance, Sony Computer Entertainment's chief of network system department Izumi Kawanishi has stated that, like the recently revealed function of the Nintendo DS, the PSP can also download games, saving them to a memory stick. Other bits included a recharge time of about two hours, region locks on UMDs, and MMOs to be possible. Exciting news, but at the same time, gamesindustry.biz reports that a PSP delay may happen, dependant upon developers' ability to have games ready on time. Trouble in the PSP camp?

Xbox Xbox Holiday Bundle Microsoft announced today a new holiday bundle that should please sports fans. Starting October 31, gamers can pick up an Xbox console bundled with NCAA Football 2005 and Top Spin and two months free of Xbox Live. You'll get all that for the same current price of $149.99. Both of the included games are Xbox Live-capable, so you can hop on as soon as you have the console setup.
PS2 Metal Gear Solid 3 in Stores Late November Konami has finally confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Gamers can pick this up on November 17, a Wednesday, which is just eight days after the release of Halo 2 and just days before the launch of the Nintendo DS.
