Late Night Consoling

As I've mentioned before, I'm a sucker for those music games. I've spent way more money than I should've importing the beatmania controller, DDR pads, guitars, etc. I typically enjoy them all but the one game I just could not appreciate was Karaoke Revolution. As weird as it sounds, I don't really enjoy music, but I love the interactivity of bemani games. However, with Karaoke Revolution, listening to myself scream into a cheap microphone just didn't cut it; and when I heard one of my buddies try to sing Addicted by Simple Plan, it promptly was traded in at the local game store. Still, it must be selling rather well if it's already spawned a sequel and is now being ported to the Xbox. Konami needs to get on the ball and bring over beatmania IIDX or Keyboardmania.

    MEGA-RUMOR!

GTA: San Andreas to Support Multiplayer

Somewhere, somehow, the rumor has been started that the upcoming Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will include some form of multiplayer action. Is it co-op, head-to-head, online... who knows? When CVG placed calls to Rockstar, they were treated to "we cannot confirm or deny this story."

Since the likelihood of it is so low...

I'm not about to get my hopes up.

I just watched 2 videos of it and I filled the cup even without co-op.

They stated fairly recently that there was DEFINATLY not any multiplayer.

They're entering the hype zone if they're going to hit their date, so there's no reason not to announce it.

hang on, the article linked says

Our question "Is there an online mode for the game?" was met with a flat denial of "No". Our follow-up, "So is there any kind of multiplayer component for the game?" was also met with a similar stone wall "No", and there, for the moment, we had to let the matter rest.

end of story. wtf is this shit?
