Late Night Consoling
If you guys didn't notice, Nintendo discreetly released Donkey Konga today. The game comes packaged with the DK bongos controller and still retails for only $50. It was one of my "must-sees" at this past E3, but unfortunately due to the tremendously loud atmosphere that surrounds the expo, the experience was just me slapping some plastic drums. I'm a big fan of the music genre; I had imported Dance Dance Revolution when they were still on the 1st mix and I still have the original beatmania pad so it's cool seeing this style of gameplay now flourishing here in the states. With the eye-opening success of Katamari Damacy, I can only hope this trend continues of bringing what are thought to be Japanese-only titles over here to the US.

Not a big surprise really, any of these projects that take longer than expected are going to need a way to cut their losses. The great thing about Pyschonauts and The Stranger though are the fact that a majority of the development was done for the Xbox so those versions don't have many excuses to not be superior.
