Right around the corner is the Tokyo Game Show, September 24-26, and we should be receiving some interesting news coming out of the land of the rising sun. Here's a preview: new project coming from the man behind SaGa Frontier and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Not sure if we will have any ground-breaking announcements, but definitely plenty of first-time hands-on impressions will be coming out for a multitude of titles. Maybe we'll finally get the official details on the Nintendo DS? Hopefully..

Xbox Winning Eleven 8 Sports Online Matches...in Europe Pro Evolution Soccer 4, known here in the US as Winning Eleven 8, will be fully compatible with Xbox Live and will offer gamers, for the first time ever, to play the series competitively over the Internet. Players will also be able to form mini-leagues and track their rating against other players with the rating system. No official word if full Xbox Live support will also be featured in the US version of WE8, but it would be quite the shock if it isn't there.

Muzyka said, "This is a new IP, and there are going to be follow-on products - sequels and other things, absolutely." But BioWare isn't stopping there. They plan to bring out many more new IPs, or intellectual properties, now that they have some solid licensed titles under their belt. "Now that we've got some experience and have a bit more of an idea of what we're doing, we want to make some new IPs, and Jade Empire is the first."
