I don't think "a few extra weapons" can save the horrible-ness of that demo. Honestly, 540 mb for 10 minutes of rehashed shooter gameplay does not color me impressed :(

    No, I expect a representation of the full version's gameplay. And what we got in that demo was not impressive.

  If they released a version with only the medium-quality textures you would all be whining that the texture quality sucks or you'd be wanting them to release a high-res version. Bah :\
  
  I thought the demo was good mindless shooter fun.

    I think the complaint "I downloaded half a terrabyte for ten minutes of gameplay." is stronger than "This demo has medium-res textures like every other demo ever released." But maybe that is just me. :p

    I think "half a terrabyte" would be a valid complaint, but it was half a gigabyte :)
