It does look cool, though it looks as if every hairy monster stuck his finger in an electric socket. :P

This can probably be solved by making the hair shorter...
I don't believe this technique allows for hair that looks "bent" by things such as gravity. It's gotta stick out straight from the surface.
That star fox adventures game on the GC used it, and there are some upcoming titles that'll feature it on the GC and Xbox.
Also, I think Tony Hawk 2X used it for the grass, as did SpiderMan 2 (at least on xbox)
