Battlefield Vietnam Community Update

There is a new community update on the official Battlefield Vietnam website. It mentions the 1.1 patch has been delayed, mentioning that they're adding an additional week of testing and polishing. There are also several screenshots showing off the upcoming WW2 mod, illustrating how different Wake Island, Invasion of the Philippines and Iwo Jima look compared to the BF1942 versions.

to tell you the truth its really not that much of a difference. I like the old Bf1942

  I think it'll make a big difference. we'll have to actually play it before we can make informed comments though :)

  Still, it's free content. If you have both games, I think the minor gameplay tweaks in BFV might put the mod ahead. I haven't read a lot about it, though. My BFV key got invalidated somehow, so it's not like I'm gonna be playing it much anyway.

  Not much of a difference? Capture timers, better netcode, more cover on maps, multiple weapon loadouts, 3d map, a new weapon(flamethrower!), etc. Now tell us again that it isn't much of a difference. ;p
