Baldur's Gate 3, NWN 2 News Soon?

The latest issue of PC Gamer (the one with the DOOM 3 review) has a teaser for next month saying they'll be taking a look at upcoming Dungeon & Dragons games, mentioning the unannounced Baldur's Gate 3 and Neverwinter Nights. According to an Atari spokesperson on HomeLAN Fed "There may be some truth to that statement..."

Bah, the Baldur's Gate storyline is over. They should name it something else to avoid tarnishing the BG name.

  If anything, they'll call it BG for name recognition.
  
  Also, Baldur's Gate is just the name of the city the games were set near...
  
  So, you could easily call another game Baldur's Gate, and the plot need not have anything to do with the first 2.

  yeah I completely agree. I'm sure they'll use the name though. Actually a question, did "Dark alliance" have anything to do with the pc BG storyline?

    Absolutely nothing. It was a hack and slash with faceless characters in dungeons, although you started out in a city that happened to be called baldur's gate. See my big post for my thoughts.
