I swear, if I had a nickel for each time I've been messaged for ICO 2 news, I'd probably have around 85 cents. Well, there ya go. It's not confirmed, but it's not denied either. Hell, we're told to stay tuned to that UK Amazon page! At least it's good to know it is coming, even if not anytime in the near future.

PS2 SCEE Shoots Down ICO Sequel Rumor Amazon's UK site recently added a listing for Nico, a supposed sequel to the cult PS2 hit ICO, however SCEE released a statement debunking the listing. "SCEE has yet to announce any official information related to the sequel of ICO, but we can confirm that such game will not be launching in 2004 for Europe." Don't pout yet; EuroGamer was told some promising news. "ICO has been a cherished favourite amongst PS2 gamers and we realise that a second instalment is eagerly anticipated worldwide. Please watch this space..."
PS2 Sony Europe Beats Mod Chip Seller The British High Court ruled in favor of SCEE in a case against David Ball, a man who sold over 1,500 mod chips across the United Kingdom. The judge ruled that mod chips are illegal under the newly-implemented European Union Copyright Directive. SCEE president David Reeves commented, "We are sending a clear message to manufacturers and distributors of mod chips throughout the PAL territories that we will continue to pursue legal action against them."
Xbox Halo 2 LE Coming to the UK Microsoft revealed today that they plan to release the Limited Edition version of Halo 2 in the United Kingdom. The LE comes in a metal box along with a second DVD packed with behind the scenes features and content. The UK Halo 2 LE will retail for roughly 45 pounds and be on sale alongside its regular edition brother on November 11.
PS2 Xbox GCN Sakaguchi Starts New Game Studio Hironobu Sakaguchi, the driving force behind Square-Enix for over a decade, revealed to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that he is launching a new development company to focus solely on creating new RPGs for the next generation consoles. The company will be called Mist Walker, but little else is known.
PS2 Xbox Robotech Invades San Diego Comic-Con The official Robotech website has updated with news that the upcoming Robotech: Invasion title from Vicious Cycle will be on display at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con. I can confirm through a Take-Two representative that the game will not only be on display, but in playable form for both the PS2 and Xbox in the Toynami booth (#3245).
N-Gage N-Gage to Get Some Lovage Nokia announced that it will work with Vivendi Universal to co-publish and develop a version of the upcoming Leisure Suit Larry for its N-Gage platform. Currently titled Leisure Suit Larry: Pocket Party, the game will be N-Gage's first cel-shaded title and will sport over thirty hours of gameplay.
GCN New GameCube Color for Japan Nintendo follows up on the Emerald Green GBA SP by announcing a "Starlight Gold" GameCube. Sold exclusively through the Japanese branch of Toys 'R' Us, the console only differs by having a light gold tint to its hardware. It will sell for the same price as its standard GameCube. Xbox TeamXbox has a first look at Oddworld Stranger. IGN has updated impressions, screens, and footage regarding Fable. A few new shots of Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space and impressions of Ninja Gaiden Hurricane Pack Vol. 1 are at GameSpot tonight.
GBA IGN has the first details on Chronos Twin, an original title from European company EnjoyUp.

          not pink like the hello kitty dreamcast but pink like the Sakura Taisen Dreamcast or the Sakura PS2.
