E3: EQ2 impressions

GameArena posted their impressions of EverQuest 2. I've never been much of an EQ fan, but those screenshots look mighty fine. "The engine makes light work of eyelashes, flowing robes, hair, even spookily realistic eyes. Boats in the game roll realistically aloft textured waves as their sails billow, wood textures look grainy and real, and spell effects light the immediate vicinity."

The sequel is equipped with a better engine and the release will be "in September".
