Anyway, good news today. They're absolutely sure Half-Life 2 will ship this summer. So, with this in the back of my mind, I started to wonder: Why do companies bother to set a deadline that they can't make in the first place? And the worst part of it, I think they know they can't make it. Now I ask you, why!? These 3DRealms guys might take a long time to finish their game, but at least they're honest about it. Ofcourse we'll all forget about the whole thing the second the game hits the streets, but still...
