Well, this is probably going to be the only regular LNC of the week. During E3 we'll just mostly mention previews and media from games, though there's bound to be a few announcements at the show.

PS2 XBox 25 to Life Announced Eidos announced 25 to Life today, a team-based online action game for Xbox & Playstation 2. In the game you side with either thugs or cops, who battle each other in urban environments with various game modes including a CTF like "capture the stash" one. 25 to Life will come with a singleplayer campaign as well, which will allow you to unlock items for the multiplayer mode. Xbox On TRON 2.0 Multiplayer GameSpot has some information on Tron 2.0: Killer App Multiplayer features, as it won't just come with the ones found in the PC version. First of all there will be extra maps in the console version of the game, but Killer App will also sport a Team Fortress-like mode where you can be one of six character types. There will also be a overRIDE mode, which is based on the light cycles, and support for Xbox Live 3.0 features like MSN Messenger integration and team features.
XBox Microsoft Press Event Coverage The Microsoft pre-E3 press event is going on right now (update: it has now ended), and you can find updated coverage on GameDaily. Among the things mentioned: Halo 2 coming to you November 9, and yep, Electronic Arts will start to support Xbox Live.
XBox Halo 2 S.E., Release Date Announced We got sent this press release just as the Microsoft press event ended, announcing a Limited Edition of Halo 2 and a release date of November 9. The Limited Edition of the game will come in a metal box, and it will contain a second DVD with making-of videos, cinematics and characters cut from the game, development team commentaries and more.
Nintendo Dynasty Warriors DS Announced Koei today announced that it is working on a Nintendo DS version of Dynasty Warriors. The company didn't release too many details to go along with the announcement, but it was mentioned the action game will be based on previous games in the series and that it will make use of the "innovative capabilities" of the new Nintendo device which will be unveiled tomorrow.
Xbox Microsoft's Forza Motorsport And another announcement, as Microsoft Games Studios announced development of Forza Motorsport, an in-house developed game which allows people to own, customize and race cars. You can modify cars (from manufactureres like Mazda, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, and Dodge) by changing their paint job, adding rims, decals and other features and you can tweak engines, suspensions and brakes as well. Obviously the game will be Xbox Live enabled. Forza Motorsport is scheduled for a holiday 2004 release.
PS2 E3 Tidbits The guys at 1UP got to walk across the floors of E3 already, reporting a few tidbits. First of all it seems that Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex is coming to North America, as the game is featured at the Bandai stand. Bandai's DVD publishing arm is the company releasing the TV series' DVD in the U.S. as well. Secondly, the Square Enix stand revealed development of Samurai Legend Musashi, the sequel to the action RPG Brave Fencer Musashi. Trailer description included. And lastly, The Getaway 2 has a real name: The Getaway: Black Monday.
XBox Xbox Live & Puzzle Games? This is not your father's Xbox Live..oh wait, it is. Microsoft has said it will offer a lineup of arcade, puzzle and card games on its Live service, targeting older adults and women. The games will be available later this fall, at a price of about 10 bucks a game. Some games are being developed in-house while Atari, Namco, PopCap (Bejeweled) and WildTangent are also working on games.
GBA SP European NES Edition GBA Announced Following the release of the GBA SP NES Edition in Japan and North America, Nintendo today announced that the handheld will be released in Europe in July. The games Donkey Kong, Ice Climber, Excitebike, The Legend of Zelda, Pac-Man, Xevious, Bomberman and Super Mario Bros will be released at the same time. Retail price of the Classic NES Edition GBA SP will be 129 euros.
N-Gage Renderware Engaged Criterion Software has announced that its RenderWare technology will soon be available on the N-Gage. On various platforms RenderWare has powered such games as Burnout, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Mortal Kombat: Dead Alliance and many others.

PS2 Xbox GameSpot, IGN and 1UP all have previews of Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow (Xbox) The Magic Box has new images from Silent Hill 4: The Room (Xbox, PS2) and Ambrosia Oddyssey (PS2). GameSpot has Final Fantasy XII (PS2) trailer impressions and IGN goes hands-on with Halo 2 multiplayer.
