ESPN NFL 2005 Details You can find some new details on ESPN NFL 2005 on GameSpot this evening. According to GameSpot people can look forward to a expanded franchise mode, with one of the new features being a play-by-play visual simulcast like ESPN's GameCast. Don't like where the game is going? Switch to coaching and take control of the game. You can also control training and see players' workout schedules. Another new feature is called Maximum Tackle, allowing you to fine-tune the offense and defense of players. Also look for several ESPN personalities in the game providing league news, post-game analysis and interviews. | |
Midway Results Midway released its first quarter 2004 financial results today, showing a $14.2 million net loss on $20.1 million in revenues. Though still not healthy the company is doing better than expected thanks to strong sales of The Suffering. As usual with these type of announcements there is game news to be found in the press release, namely the delay of NARC from 2004 to 2005, and the addition of Shadow Hearts: Covenant to its 2004 lineup. Other games Midway will be releasing this year include MLB SlugFest: Loaded, Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Mortal Kombat: Deception. | |
New Panzer Dragoon Game? This one is for all the Panzer Dragoon fans out there. You know who you are. The latest Rumor Mill section of Electronic Gaming Monthly mentions that despite not too impressive sales of Panzer Dragoon Orta, Sega is supposedly working on a new PD game. Expected to be announced soon, the game will be more like the Saturn game Panzer Dragoon Saga in "style and tone". Thanks to a certain loony for the tip. | |
Commodore 64 Direct-To-TV Announced Another one of those direct-to-television game systems has been announced, this time by Commodore 64 owner Tulip. You can find a BabelFish translated press release here, mentioning that the C64 Direct-to-TV product will come with 30 games and will cost about $35 when its released in the second half of this year in the US and Europe. The only games mentioned as being included are Epyx' sports titles Summer Games, Winter Games, World Games and The Seminal California Games. Thanks Slashdot Games. | |
