Late Night Consoling
I've given the matter some thought, and I really think that I may have been too hard on Manhunt in my review of the game. I know I marked it as "good", but let's face it, Manhunt isn't a good game, it's a great game. And you know, so was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. And Grand Theft Auto 3 was great too, wasn't it? Yes, I've given the matter some thought, and really, at the end of the day, can you really name a game that's been better in the last few years than State of Emergency? I know I can't. Except for Manhunt, Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and yes, even Max Payne 2, which was just amazing as well. I don't know why I didn't realize this sooner.

Square Enix Cancels DQ8 The overwhelming success of Dragon Quest V over in Japan has had one surprising side effect...Bloomberg Japan is reporting that Square Enix has canceled Dragon Quest VIII, and will instead go back and remake Dragon Quest I through VII for the PlayStation 2. Considering how rabid those Dragon Quest fans are over there (they bought a GBA RPG starring the slime for god's sake!), I doubt anyone will really mind. | |
