Painkiller GONE GOLD
We received an email from Dreamcatcher Interactive, announcing that the first person shooter Painkiller has gone gold! As previously announced, the game will be in stores April 12.
Created by development team People Can Fly, Painkiller puts gamers in the role of Daniel Garner, the unfortunate victim of a fatal car accident who finds himself trapped in a dark and unwelcoming world somewhere between Heaven and Hell. The key to salvation is to fight through more than 50 species of Hell's wildest incarnations in an attempt to stop an imminent Unholy War. Offering a completely original storyline and frantic, physics-based gameplay using Havok 2.0, Painkiller has quickly become one of the most anticipated PC shooter titles of 2004.
