Late Night Consoling
Hot damn is it dead around here. I mean, it's as quiet here as it was during the N-Gage launch. Seriously, it's like Game.com dead. Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal. As I promised, I tried my best to storm the Sony building, but apparently they don't know what kind of man wears Armor hotdogs, so they handed me some relish and sent me on my way.
Ridley Scott to Produce DRIV3R Short Atari announced today that they have signed Ridley Scott Associates, the production company run by directors Ridley and Tony Scott, to produce a 3 minute live action movie that will be released on the official DRIV3R site. Also being made are a series of 30 second vignettes, which will serve as commercials for the movie, which is of course itself a commercial for the game.
007: Everything or Nothing Q&A Electronic Arts has posted a Q&A with Mya, the musician who provides the voice for a character in 007: Everything or Nothing. This being EA's official site, don't go here expecting hard-hitting questions. Interviews with celebrities always tend to be softball, but this one's practically a koosh.
Microsoft Falters in Korea It looks like the broadband capital of the world hasn't been jumping at the Xbox...although Microsoft had hoped to sell as many as 150,000 units in their first year of availability in South Korea, they've only managed to move 60,000. Things may pick up once StarCraft: Ghost is released (StarCraft is beyond huge in Korea), although its cross-platform nature might negate any chances of a sales boost for Microsoft. Thanks Slashdot Games for the tip.
