Most of my gaming this past week was spent with Rockstar's Manhunt. I'm enjoying the game quite a bit. It's a pretty unique game, and the initial shock of its over-the-top violence wears off pretty quickly. If nothing else, you'll see the same executions over and over again, so by the third time you're much more concerned about whether or not anyone is going to hear you shattering someone's skull than with the gore it spatters on the camera. I am enjoying it, although I find the limited save game system to be very frustrating at times. As a general rule, I really dislike limited save game systems, but what really annoys me are those games where it's possible to lose more than 30 minutes of gameplay by making a single mistake. Admittedly, this makes Manhunt really, really scary at times, but as you've got the Director yelling in your ear to hurry it up, it's tough to comply when you're that worried about losing all your progress so far.
