I've got a copy of Homeworld 2 sitting right here next to me, but I must say, I'm scared by the reviews I've read here. I loved the first game (read: loved the game) but I never finished it because the damn thing was just too f#$&king hard. There was so much great stuff in there, but it was ultimately much too frustrating an experience for me to keep going. I had very high hopes for this sequel, but it sounds like Relic, much to my dismay, has neglected to either tone down the difficulty or add-in a difficulty slider for those of us who would rather not beat our heads against a wall after the umpteenth defeat. I swear, I tried everything with that first game. I even bought a strategy guide! Oh well. The add-on for Age of Mythology ships next week, so I won't be at any lack for strategy games, but I really wish Relic would come to their senses about this. I'm a pretty hard core gamer, and if I can't make it through, I can't even imagine how a newbie will be able to do it.
