Nintendo at ECTS Nintendo has announced the lineup of GBA and GameCube titles they will be showcasing at ECTS at the end of the month. No big surprises here, although the version of Mario Kart: Double Dash that they are bringing to the show has been updated since its E3 debut back in May. | |
Front Mission Headed to PSOne News fresh out of Japan (and subsequently reported on GamePro.com) is that SquareSoft is porting the original SNES Front Mission to the PSOne. The game is said to have added story elements, and will be bargain-priced when it comes out in Japan this October. No North American release has been announced as of yet. | |
KOTOR Still Selling Like Crazy More good news for BioWare and LucasArts...Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic continues to sell like hotcakes, and has already topped more than 270,000 units in its first two weeks on store shelves. PS2, Xbox Ports of SNK vs. Capcom Announced According to The Magic Box, SNK Playmore has announced plans to release SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos for the PS2 early next year. An Xbox port will follow at an unknown time afterwards. | |

Nintendo Announcing New Game? Metroid Prime 2 in 2004? A pair of vague Nintendo stories are up at GamerFeed tonight...the first says that Nintendo is holding a press conference on Thursday, possibly to announce a new game. The second has a bit more to work with, quoting a recent interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, where he says that Resident Evil chief Shinji Mikami has expressed interest in working with him on a project, and also that the sequel to Metroid Prime will be released sometime next year. | |

"The original, cause it was the first REALLY good football game for a console other than Tecmo Bowl, which wasn't very technically accurate. this was the first game where you could really have a slug fest as well as a good tactical game as well."
